Connecting with the Wild, Connecting with our Heart

With Kurt Hoelting

Join us at Keene Channel Lodge, in the heart of Southeast Alaska’s Tongass National Forest, to cultivate a deeper embodied presence with ourselves, each other, and the natural world. We will explore the elements that connect our senses to the mysteries and wisdom of a more-than-human world. Alaska’s Inside Passage evokes a wider, more ancient and visceral sen. These practices open us to the grace connection and interconnection and dissolve the feelings of separation and isolation.

Kurt Hoelting and Rhonda Magee will host conversations on the pressing issues of our day that weigh increasingly on our teaching, including ecological decline and cultural polarizations around racism, equity and trauma-informed teaching practices - in service of healing for ourselves and others.
